James Hardware Before and After

My husband and I owned James Hardware which was in downtown Brent near the railroad tracks. Here is a before and after picture to show how much it was damaged. Much of the upstairs part landed on the lower level of the store. Because it was originally built as a bank building the walls were three brick thick so there was a lot of “stuff” that had to be hauled out of the lower level. It was interesting to find that some glass objects were found unbroken underneath all the bricks. This is an interesting website and I am thankful that you have it.
